On what devices can I watch The Weather Channel?

The app is only available on streaming television devices, including Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, Samsung TV (2018 models and newer), and Vizio.

We do not currently have an Apple TV application or Mobile applications. The subscription to TWC Television app doesn’t include subscription to weather.com or premium subscriptions on your mobile device.

I want to watch The Weather Channel on my Apple TV. Why can't I?

The Apple TV application is not managed or delivered by the team at The Weather Channel broadcast group. It is managed by another team.

If you want to watch The Weather Channel live programming you will need to download the apps we created on Android TV, Roku, Fire TV, Samsung TV (2018 models and newer) or Vizio. You will need to log into the apps using a cable/satellite account or purchase a subscription.

How do I sign in to The Weather Channel TV app using my cable or satellite subscription?

- Once you open the App, click on “Sign in” and then “Cable/Satellite Customers”
- The app will provide you with an activation code and instruct you to visit http://weathergroup.com/activate-device.
- On a computer or mobile device, visit the activate page and enter the activation code.
- The TV app will then automatically refresh, and you will be able to watch the video content.

As of now, most cable and satellite providers are supported. If you do not see your cable provider logo on the authentication screen, please search within the search box below the other provider logos.

Will I be shown ads?

You will see ad breaks during live programming. For on-demand content, you can expect to see ads intermittently before your stream starts as well as during your steam on longer content. The light ad load in our app allows us to provide a great user experience at an extremely affordable price.

How do I sign up for The Weather Channel TV App?

There are two ways in which you can sign up to watch The Weather Channel TV App:

Sign up using a paid subscription:

- Download The Weather Channel App from the respective app stores
- Click on “Start 1 Month Free Trial”
- Follow the on screen instructions
- You may also visit www.streamtwc.com to start your subscription

Sign in for free using your cable/satellite subscription

- If you have a cable/satellite subscription, you can sign in to watch for free. Once you open the App, click on “Sign in'' and then “Cable/Satellite Customers'' and follow the instructions.

What if I do not see my cable provider as an option?

The Weather Channel is adding support for cable and satellite providers every month, At this point, most cable and satellite providers are supported. If you do not see your cable provider logo on the authentication screen, then you can search within the search box below the other provider logos. Is closed captioning available?

Yes, closed captioning is available on all our content including Live and On-Demand shows. To turn on CC, go to Settings and then click on Closed Captioning and toggle to on.

Is there still a free preview option?

If you have a subscription to a cable or satellite provider, please login to watch the App for free. If you do not have a cable or satellite subscription, you can sign up for a free 1 month trial, after which you will have to pay to subscribe to The Weather Channel.

What payment methods are accepted for The Weather Channel TV app?

If you are subscribing on Roku TV, you can use their in-app payment process. This means that you can apply the charge to the credit card you have on file with them.

For other platforms, you can use major credit cards, including Mastercard and Visa.

How do I see my payment history?

If you subscribed to the channel via the website streamtwc.com, you can see your payment history by going to this website and clicking on the Account tab.

If you subscribed via RokuTV, please refer to that platform for your payment information.

How do I change my payment information?

If you subscribed to the channel via the website streamtwc.com, you can change your payment information by going to this website and clicking on the Accounts tab.

If you subscribed via RokuTV, you will need to change your payment information there.

If you subscribed to the channel via the website streamtwc.com, you can cancel your subscription by going to this website and clicking on the Accounts tab.

If you subscribed via RokuTV, you will need to cancel your plan on that platform.

What is your refund policy?

If you subscribed via RokuTV, please contact Roku for their refund policy.

On all other platforms, you may cancel the renewal of your subscription at any time before the end of the current billing period or free trial, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period or free trial. Please note that you will not receive a prorated refund of charges for the current billing period, but you will continue to have access to the service through the end of the current billing period we are currently not offering refunds for cancellations. If you feel there is a genuine reason such as issues with viewing experience, you may contact customer support (email id here) and we will work with you to find the best solution.

How do I change my email address?

If you wish to change your email id, you will need to cancel your existing subscription and then start a new one with the new email id. If you have further questions on this, please contact us at help@streamtwc.com.

How do I reset my password?

We are using a passwordless process for increased security and convenience. You will never need a password to sign in or sign up for this service. We will use a 6 digit passcode instead.
